Children and pets are welcome.

We are a working farm with a variety of animals. Each year in November we buy approximately 75 calves at a week-old and pasture them and their seniors all summer, 160 cattle in all. We have donkeys, and goats, and a pond with geese and ducks. There are cats and two collies, Sam & Meg.

The farm extends to 200 acres which are riddled with footpaths. All offer stunning views. It is a pleasant walk to the historic Druids Altar from where you can easily make your way into the St Ives Estate. This has a golf course, fishing lake, children's playground and waymarked nature trails among woods and flora. The Calder/Aire link to the Peninne Bridleway can be accessed from St Ives.

We are set half a mile away from the village of Long Lee which has a post office, mini-mart, pharmacy, pub, church, chapel and doctors' surgery

This is Brontė country. We are just 4 miles to Haworth, one and a half miles to the Worth Valley Steam Railway and 2 miles to the National Trust's East Riddlesdan Hall. The attractive Leeds Liverpool canal has it's famous five rise locks stretch at nearby Bingley. Skipton. the delightful market town with a castle fortress, is 11 miles north on the new trunk road.
